All new SRA members and anyone wanting a refresher should plan to come to June’s sculling checkout on Sunday, June 14th from 9:30-11:00am.
An in-person checkout is a requirement for all new members and is highly recommended for people who have a lapsed membership of two years or
more or just want an in-person review of equipment location, SRA policy and safety information! This is a free event and no sign-up is required.
Are you an adult or youth (13 years or
older) interested in learning more about upcoming beginning rowing classes at
the Sammamish Rowing Association? If so, come on down to our boathouse on June 20th from 9am-12pm
for our introductory course in rowing. You'll experience a day of rowing: both
land training and on-the-water instruction included. This is a great chance to
see what rowing is all about! After class, you'll have the chance to
learn about our summer adult and youth classes. The program is $35 and includes
light refreshments after rowing. Click

Drop in anytime for a tour of the Sammamish Rowing Association boathouse! This FREE event will introduce you to our community
rowing organization and provide a great opportunity to learn more about rowing on Lake Sammamish. You’ll get the chance to
talk to some of our great staff members and rowers, learn the proper rowing stroke on the ‘erg’ (rowing machine) and check
out our upcoming beginning adult and youth rowing classes!

The 2009 women's youth identification camp has been scheduled for
the Seattle area. These camps are "instructional with a focus on providing insight into what is required
of our best junior women rowers and coxswains and the tools to achieve success at the international level."
Both rowers and coxswains may participate. To learn more about this ID camp see, click

Avery Hamann and Becky Kinchen,
both of Bellevue, were named to the US Rowing Scholastic honor roll,
a list that consists of only 41 athlete-scholars nationwide. Here

Sammamish Rowing Association has a Club Affiliation
on the Concept 2 website. If you don't already have one, you can
easily create an online log and select SRA as your club affiliation.
Watch your own meters and SRA's total meters accumulate and help
SRA climb to the top of the other rowing clubs. To get started,
