We're Building Toward The Future, with our annual fundraising dinner/auction. We hope you can join us!

Date: November 17, 2007 at 6 pm
Location: Embassy Suites in Bellevue
Dress: Cocktail Attire

We are counting on the SRA rowers to help make this a successful event. We are asking that each family participate in these three areas in order to insure that 2007 will be a wonderful event!

1. Attend the Auction: We would love to have all current rowers at the auction as well as encourage them to invite friends, family and SRA Alumni.

2. Procure items to be auctioned: We are asking each family to procure items totaling in value of over $100.

3. Volunteer: SRA needs volunteers for preplanning of the auction as well as during the day to set up as well as many volunteers to help put on the auction night. Please consider volunteering in on of the following areas.

Pre Auction Night Planning – There are many areas in which to volunteer before auction night.

Junior Reps – We need parents to help contact all junior families to ensure that they attend the auction, procure items and invite friends and family to auction 2007.
Corporate Sponsorship – To assist in underwriting the cost of the auction we need people to contact local and national organizations about becoming a corporate sponsor of our event.

Decorations/item display – We need volunteers to help organize the items prior to auction night as well as help with the decorations.

Night of Auction Volunteers – People are needed in the following areas.

Live Auction – we need a runners and recorders.
Silent Auction – we need people to assist the coordinator in recording all items and getting them ready for pick up.
Skits/Prizes – We need a coordinator to help organize the kids in for their Live auction skits and well as develop prizes for various live auction items.
Finance/Check-out – These individuals need basic computer skills and will be trained prior to auction night in the auction finance software.
