SRA Junior Competes at Junior World Championship

May 1, 2007. Sammamish Rowing Association rower Cara Linnenkohl was among 41 junior rowers selected to represent the United States at the 2007 FISA World Rowing Junior Championships in Beijing, China.

Cara was selected to compete in the women's pair with Alex Japhet of Edmonds, WA. At the World Championships they advanced to the "A" final where they finished sixth, racing against crews from China, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, and Portugal.

Cara Linnenkohl attends the Bear Creek School in Redmond and will be starting her senior year this fall.
