Seven rowers from Sammamish Rowing Association attended the US Rowing National Championships in Indianapolis July 19-23, 2006. These rowers participated in the Junior B division at the regatta. They had entries in 10 events and medaled in 5 events, including: gold medal in Women’s Jr. B Single, bronze in Women’s Jr. A Single, silver in Men’s Jr. B Single, silver in Men’s Jr. B Double and gold in Men’s Jr. B Quad.

Rowers were: Austin Ward of Issaquah, Tyler Andrews of Sammamish, Joe Hayman of Redmond, Guy Guday of Redmond, Becky Kinchen of Bellevue, Alison Thompson of Redmond, and Cara Linnenkohl of Bellevue. They were coached by Mark Davis.

Two other rowers from SRA, Hans Struzyna and Tyler Emsky, attended the regatta as members of the Northwest Development Camp.
