Masters: Interested in Head of the Charles?

Friday, February 11, 2005. The 2005 Head of the Charles will be held October 22 - 23 in Boston, MA and the SRA Masters would like to take a crew. This popular regatta has limited entries and we would like to submit bids for entries to represent Sammamish Rowing Association. The race events are Men’s 4+, 8+ and Women’s 4+, 8+. In order for SRA to submit an entry, we are taking names for all those interested in attending. We will then determine the entries we will submit.

The general details of the regatta are as followed:
Dates: October 22 – 23, 2005
Departure Seattle: Thursday October 20, 2005
Return Seattle: Sunday, October 23, 2005
Regatta Fee: $1,200+ (This fee includes flight, hotel entry fee and boat rental. Additional expenses will include food, transportation in Boston, and other logistical details.)

If you would like to be considered for this regatta, please notify Head Master’s Coach, Marcy Chartier (marcy.chartier@srarowing.com) by March 15, 2005. Crew selection will take place shortly after to allow sufficient time for participants to plan their yearly schedule accordingly. Please note: Junior and Scullers may be attending this regatta. Their entries will be submitted separately.
