We had a great time in Canada at the Head of the Gorge/Head of the Elk. The regattas went well, in spite of some challenging weather. Congratulations to all the SRA rowers. Emilyn and I want to express our deep gratitude to all of you who participated in making the Head of the Gorge/Head of the Elk a great experience for all of the rowers, coaches, and other volunteers.
Thanks to the Triple S's - Sandy, Susan, and Stacy - even though you must have felt a little like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz when your tents blew away, you still kept smiling and fed a hungry crowd. Thanks also to Daryl who was always in the kitchen helping out.
Thank to Tony, and Scott. Every time we looked up and saw people working, you were there.Our chaperones were wonderful. Lori, Laura, and Colin kept going through the exhaustion of three days and some very long bus trips. You guys are great!
Lastly, Michelle and Matt. Thank you for the "SRA FoodMobile." You are always there, and always dependable. You are the best.Thank you all,
