Make A Donation

The SRA New Boathouse effort is at a ver important stage. We have successfully met our first goal of raising $500,000 by the end of 2005. We have the opportunity to complete construction of the new faciloity by Summer of 2007. But in order for that to happen we all have to come together and support the effort.

A financial donation to the new boathouse campaign will make the most impact. There are several ways to do this:

Make a Multi-Year Pledge. To help you make a substantial gift, SRA is accepting multi-year pledges through 2007. Please fill out this pledge form and send it it to the SRA office or put it in the Director's box at the boathouse.

Stock or Mutual Funds: Contributions may be made as a gift of appreciated stock or mutual funds. If you hold stock or mutual funds that have increase in value since time of purchase, you may reduce taxes by considering this type of gift Please contact us at (425) 653-2583 or director for information about our broker and mutual fund accounts. The value of your gift will be calculated by using the mean value of each share on the date the shares arrive in our brokerage or mutual fund account.

We are always looking for people to help with our capital campaign - volunteering to be on the capital campaign committee, developing independent fundraising events, spreading the word, etc. Please contact us at newboathouse to discuss.
